A strikingly colourful specimen of Chalcopyrite var Blister Copper from the Camborne-Redruth area of Cornwall, the heart of the Cornish mining industry. The Chalcopyrite displays a Coral rounded dendritic form measuring to 3.5cm tall. The colour of the specimen is stunning for this variety of Chalcopyrite with from an almost iridescent aqua blue metallic, passing into a metallic iridescent purple-red. Areas without the patina show the more usual metallic light yellow. A fine colour rich specimen from the area.
