A fine display of the Chalcopyrite variety Blister Copper, from the Cook's Kitchen Mine, Illogan, Cornwall. Characteristic botryoidal metallic yellow Chalcopyrite, has a dark patine with areas of white Quartz. A classic specimen from this old Cornish mine, absorbed into the Tincroft Mine in 1895, and later into South Crofty.
