A very characteristic and fine specimen of Chalcopyrite crystals with long prismatic crystals of Quartz from the St.Agnes mining area in Cornwall. Intergrown sphenoidal and twinned crystals of metallic yellow Chalcopyrite measure to 1.8cm some with a metallic blueish patina have formed on crystals of Quartz measuring to 5cm tall, associated with a grey-green Chlorite, and rare micro-crystals of light metallic yellow Pyrite. Classic specimen from the St. Agnes mines.
