Chalcosiderite

ID: CC3261

A distinctive specimen of Chalcosiderite from the Phoenix United Mines, almost certainly from the Stowes Section. A rich deep green botryoidal druse of lustrous Chalcosiderite covers much of the display face of the specimen, with outlaying cavities also bearing crystals of Chalcosiderite. The matrix is the characteristic dark brown Goethite Gossan with Quartz impregnated by disseminated deep lustrous Cassiterite.
