This specimen is priced in pounds sterling, all other prices are approximate.

ID: CC1778

A very rich crystal specimen of the rare Copper Antimony Sulphide Chalcostibite. The bladed crystals are abundantly intergrown and have the classic overgrowth of blue Azurite and minor green Malachite. Areas of the Chalcostibite crystals display the true grey metallic colour. The matrix is a light biscuit coloured rock with colourless to translucent white Calcite. Again a very rich example of Chalcostibite from Morocco, with large crystals for the species - such specimens first came to notice in 1919.
