Areas of wax-like grey Chlorargyrite measuring to 5-7mm and very rare isolated cubooctahedral crystals to around 0.5mm, on and in yellow-brown Goethite Gossan. From the Perran Silver Mine. Perranuthnoe, Cornwall. The mine was originally opened to work the silver 'rich' area in the Sedgman lode, part of the old Wheal Neptune sett. Any silver minerals from Cornwall would be considered rare.
