A classic specimen of Kammererite from the famous Chromite, Kop Krom Mine, Turkey. Specimens Came out in quantity in the 1970's but are now becoming uncommon. The specimen we have displays a rich lustrous druse of maroon red crystals. Well formed larger crystals of Kammererite measuring to 0.5cm are seen clustered and scattered over the druse. Areas of white Calcite crystals are grouped around the periphery of the specimen. A neat specimen from the location.
