A rare large example of bright red Cinnabar from the Styrian Erzberg area in Austria. Crystallized Cinnabar occupies a V shaped cavity, also in aggregates with black platy lustrous crystals of Hematite. One area of the specimen shows biscuit coloured inter grown rhombs of Siderite. A particularly large Cinnabar from the locality.
