Well formed crystals of Cinnabar richly occupy an area measuring 4.5 x 4cm on the specimen, from the very old mining area of Landsberg (Moschellandsberg) Germany. Crystals of Cinnabar are lustrous maroon red measuring to 0.5cm. Grey white prismatic crystals of Quartz are closely associated with the Cinnabar on black matrix cut by further veinlets of Cinnabar. An uncommon specimen from the area.
