A classic mineral from a famous Cornish mine, namely the one and only Wheal Gorland. The mine has been celebrated as a fine rare mineral site from at least the late 1760's. The specimen of Clinoclase we have to offer displays a number of inter grown crystal 'acorns' concentrated along one edge. The crystals of Clinoclse are the characteristic deep lustrous blue, contrasting with the white Gibbsite. Areas of sky blue Liroconite are associated with the Clinoclase. A specimen showing the much sort after 'acorns' of Clinoclase.
