A much sought after lustrous deep blue acorn habit of Clinoclase on lustrous sky blue Liroconite, two consummate Wheal Gorland, St. Day species. A well developed crystallized acorn of Clinoclase measures to 5mm displaying curved crystal faces around the acorn. Below the acorn can be seen a further crystal cluster of Clinoclase. The crystals of Liroconite form a fine druse of classic wedge habit crystals. One end of the specimen crystals of Liroconite are over grown by a thin layer of translucent green Chrysocolla. Also a smaller cavity on the opposite end of the specimen has further crystals of Liroconite. The matrix is a typical Goethite Gossan, with remnant areas of metallic yellow tarnished Chalcopyrite. A super Wheal Gorland specimen, and comes with an old Julius Böhm mineral label.
