Cobaltoan Calcite

ID: CC1792

A fine aesthetic Cobaltoan Calcite from the well known mining area of Bou Azer, Morroco. The Cobaltoan Calcite forms two mound like groups of pyramidal crystals. The specimen shows several alternating phases of Calcite/Cobaltoan Calcite deposition. The final covering of Cobaltoan Calcite is a sparkling druse over a formation of white Calcite. The specimen has a terrific lustre with a pastel pink colour.
