A very attractive specimen of Cobaltoan Dolomite from the classic location of Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The specimen has a beautiful pastel pink colouration with a lustrous sparkling surface. This fine Cobaltoan Dolomite displays intergrown crystal richly adorning the specimen. The Cobaltoan Dolomite is seen to have replaced preexisting lenticular crystals of Calcite. Some of the replaced Calcite are formed into stacks measuring to 2.7cm tall. The matrix is a thinly walled cellular deep green Dufftite, which is also lined with micro Dolomite crystals. A pleasing specimen from Tsumeb.
