An aesthetic dome shaped specimen with a tail-like extension; a terrific Cobaltoan Smitsonite from the mine that produced a variety of Smithsonite variants, namely the classic Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The Cobaltoan Smithsonite forms an attractive intergrown formation of sharp rhombic crystals measuring to 0.6cm on edge, covering the display surface of the specimen. Greatly heightened by the lovely gemmy to translucent light cobalt pink colour. The matrix is a light white grey rock with some Cerussite and Malachite. A pleasing specimen of the variety from the Tsumeb.
