Conichalcite Crystals Tipped By Tangeite Crystals

ID: CC3122

Very rare tiny light reddish brown-yellow micro-crystals of the species Tangeite (Calciovolborthite). Confirmed by the ROM by EDS are seen grown on tips of crystal sprays of some of the Conichalcite. The specimen shows very rich Conichalcite crystals to be partly enveloped by gemmy colourless crystals of Calcite, and as lighter yellow green solid band. Crystals of Conichalcite are also seen to have over grown black-grey stalactites of Mn-Fe oxide. The Tangeite is a very rare mineral from the Tsumeb Mine, and the world.
