An unusual Cuprian Smithsonite cast from a mine that is more commonly noted for the Dolomite casts. The specimen of Cuprian Smithsonite we have possesses a sparkling drusy outer surface composed of micro-rhombic crystals. The underside of the specimen is seen as interconnected concave impressions of similar drusey Cuprian Smithsonite crystals. A very thin band of white Smithsonite is apparent between the two surfaces. The colour is a pleasing lustrous mint green, an uncommon cast from the Tsumeb Mine.
