Fine translucent light apple green crystals of Cuprian Smithsonite richly cover the display face of the specimen, from the Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Curiously crystals of Cuprian Smithsonite have a triangular mushroom-like habit to them. Also to be seen are fan-like and rice grain crystal forms of Cuprian Smithsonite on the specimen. Snow white minutely botryoidal areas of probable Hydrozincite have developed between the crystals of Cuprian Smithsonite. Both minerals having formed on druse of deep green Duftite, on a matrix of inter-mixed Smithsonite, Cerussite/Mimetite and Duftite. A super Cuprian Smithsonite specimen from the Tsumeb Mine.
