Cuprite

ID: CC481
Beautiful deep red, well formed to modified crystals of Cuprite, just under 1cm width lining a small cavity 2cm x 2cm. The matrix is gossanous showing small negative Quartz imprints and has a partial drusy coating of microcrystals of Cuprite with a scattering of several small crystals. Lovely colour in this pre 1900's piece.
