A brilliantly bright specimen of Cuprite from one of the worlds meccas for a wide selection of mineral species. The Cuprite we have displays beautiful intergrown cubo-octahedral crystals of Cuprite measuring to nearly 1cm, line a shallow cavity. Many of the crystal faces as well as being mirror-like also display some stepped growth. The matrix is a sparkling inter grown druse of rhombic Dolomite crystals with reddish-brown Goethite. A fine Cuprite specimen from the Tsumeb Mine.
