A gorgeous sparkling specimen of intergrown cubic Cuprite crystals from a seldom seen location at Wheal Damsel, Carharrack, Cornwall. Crystals of Cuprite measuring to over 1mm have deep maroon red colour with brilliant lustre, and flashes of red. The Cuprite crystals have a matrix of white quartz with a creamy layer of altered Feldspar/Granite. A very pleasing small cabinet specimen from the mine.
