A super specimen of sparkling deep maroon red crystals of Cuprite from the Phoenix United Mine, Linkinhorne, Cornwall. The specimen of Cuprite has a number of cavities in a Ferruginous Quartz matrix richly lined with intergrown sharp octahedral crystal, with flashes of bright red. A great Cuprite from a mine last work in the early 20th century.
