An extensive thick crystal druse of deep maroon coloured Cuprite from the famous Wheal Gorland, St. Day. A sparkling crystal surface of Cuprite is composed of a myriad of intergrown predominately octahedron's, measuring to an average of 1-2mm on a cavernous matrix of white Quartz and light green-grey Chlorite. Micro-crystals of silvery Arsenopyrite crystals are also to be noted on the Quartz. A very rich Cuprite from this celebrated Cornish mine.
