Cuprite on Native Copper

Well formed octahedral crystals of Cuprite on Native Copper from a new find at the Qaleh-Zari Mine, Iran. The specimen displays lustrous maroon red Cuprite crystals measuring to 3mm on a dendritic formation of Native copper crystals, having a bright metallic copper red colour. A pleasing specimen from the find.
