Cuprite Var Chalcotricite

ID: CC4163

Abundant areas of bright plush red Cuprite are seen on the display area of the specimen from the Fowey Consols Mine. Areas of the Cuprite variety Chalcotrichite measure to over 1cm, depicting the capillary-reticulated nature of the variety. The Cuprite has inter-formed with dark brown Goethite on a Quartz/Chlorite veinstone. A classic Chalcotricite from the mine.
