Devilline With Gypsum

ID: CC2150

A classic specimen of Develline from the Jean Baptiste Mine, Lavrion, Greece. Crystal hemispheres of rich beautiful turquoise blue Develline are liberally scattered over gemmy colourless well formed crystals of Gypsum. The near invisible, water clear Gypsum gives the specimen a real sparkle in person, difficult to capture in the photos. Associated spots of black Mn-oxide and white 'Gibbsite' accompany the Devilline on a typical white Marble matrix.
