A fine specimen of a natural Diamond from the Kimberley Diamond Field, South Africa. The Diamond measuring to 1.2cm displaying classic octahedral form, individual faces showing triangular stepped growth. A great lustre is seen on the Diamond, which has a hint of yellow colour and is partly gemmy to translucent. The crystal of Diamond comes glued to a chess pawn shaped pedestal. The carat weight of the specimen has not been determined.
