A fine classic specimen of Diamond in matrix from the Mirny Mine (Myr Pipe), Russia. A gemmy lustrous colourless crystal of Diamond measuring to nearly 0.6cm is displayed perfectly from the partly surrounding matrix of 'Kimbelite' rock. The Diamond crystal is octahedral in habit showing well developed triangular stepped growth. A beautifully bright Diamond from the mine in matrix.
