The hallmark feature of this specimen is the single prismatic crystal of Dioptase, from the Christoph Mine, Nambia. The sharp crystal of Dioptase measures to 2.3cm, with great lustre to the faces and a rich green colour. There are also several part formed crystals of Dioptase in association on a crystal matrix of an undefined mineral with waxy lustre, and from translucent yellowish to black.
