A fine crystal specimen of Dioptase from the Mindouli District of the D R Congo. The main feature crystal of Dioptase measures to 2.1cm tall, with many other Dioptase crystals in association. The Dioptase has a particularly rich green colour with excellent lustrous faces. A light blue matrix of Plancheite  forms the host mineral.
