A delightful specimen of Dioptase crystals on Calcite from the famous Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. Crystals of Dioptase are pleasingly scattered over the bubbly crystal druse of Calcite. The Sharp Dioptase crystals are finely formed measuring to 0.9cm, contrasting the white lustrous Calcite. Excellent emerald green colour and flashes of neon green are to be seen in the Dioptase. The Calcite covers a light red-brown matrix veined by white Calcite. An aesthetic specimen of Dioptase from the mine.
