A fine specimen of Dioptase from probably the most classic location for the species, namely the famous Tsumeb Mine, Namibia. The Dioptase is seen as a group of fine deep green sharp crystals to 1.8cm with a high luster. The largest Dioptase crystal is nicely positioned at the head of the main group. Light green internal reflections are discernible in transparent areas of the crystals. The specimen is also liberally scattered with smaller Dioptase crystals on a Quartz/Dolomite matrix. Displays well.
