Dioptase With Molybdofornacite

ID: CC4495

Not only is this specimen richly adorned with inter grown and scattered excellent Dioptase crystals, there are also rich areas of the rare mineral Molybdofornacite (type locality). Crystals of fine green Dioptase measure to 1.2cm with a light sprinkling of micro Dolomite crystals. Rich areas of inter grown bladed crystals of bright neon yellow-green are mostly concentrated on the 'reverse' of the specimen, associated with gemmy druses of micro-Dolomite crystals, red Goethite, also but not only crystals of Cerussite also make an appearance on the specimen. A super complex mineral specimen
