A beautiful single crystal specimen of what were originally called Chrome Dravite from the Landanai area of Tanzania. Recent analysis of specimens from the area are now believed to be coloured by a small amount of Vanadium in the crystal structure. The single crystal of Dravite has a lovely intense green colouration with excellent lustre to the deeply striated prism faces, and the terminations. Lots of gemmy areas can be seen in the crystal. A pleasing specimen from the area.
