Substantial well-developed crystals of Eosphorite from the famous Paprok Pegmatite area in Afghanistan. Eosphorite is a rare constituent of very few of the Phosphate-bearing pegmatites in the area. The specimen we have from the Fisher and Kureczka collection displays chestnut brown crystals measuring to an impressive 1.7cm, showing classic form for the species, on a crystal of Microcline. Scattered amongst the Eosphorite crystals are microcrystals of white Apatite, also areas on the Microcline are undefined crystallized micro-botryoidal colourless mineral.
