A very interesting Epidote specimen from this classic Alpine location in Austria. The Epidote displays a curved formation due to tectonic movement during the growth stage of the crystal. It exhibits a high vitreous luster and the typical pistacho green colour. Several crystal have sharp terminations. The crystals are partly coated on one end by matt grey fibrous Byssolite, and tiny white crystals of Adularia Feldspar. It comes with a University of Berlin label dated 1946.
