Euclase

Euclase is an uncommon mineral sometimes used as a cut gemstone. The specimen comes from the Lost Hope Mine, in the north of Zimbabwe. The Euclase specimen displays an intergrown group of crystals measuring to 0.7cm with striated prism faces. The crystals are very lustrous and vary in colour from white to a deep blue, with some gemmy areas. A fine miniature of the species with great lustre and deep blue gemminess.
