A large Fluorite octahedron measuring 5.5cm along the edge is intergrown with several smaller octahedrons to produce a balanced specimen. The Fluorites are the intense green colour that makes these specimens from Riemvasmaak so desirable, and the octahedrons are very sharp with good lustre. There is no damage on the display faces of the large crystal (contacts on the rear) and apart from one nick on the tip of a small crystal the specimen is in excellent condition. The medium sized octahedron on the opposite end of the specimen shows a well defined growth phantom, and the tranparent to translucent crystals have tiny Chalcopyrite (?) inclusions suspended in them. The size of the Fluorite crystal, the lack of damage and the good lustre make this one of the better specimens.
