Fluorite

ID: CC1674

A cluster of tightly intergrown, sharply formed Fluorite octahedrons, with the multiple pointed terminations, creating a jagged drusy effect on one side of the specimen. Many of the Fluorite octahedrons have a finely pitted surface which creates a frosted effect on the crystal faces. However the points on each of the octahedrons have remained lustrous and clear, creating windows into the intense green transparent centres, to see the small inclusions of Chalcopyrite suspended within. Underneath a rich purple colour phantom can be seen. A pretty effect on this specimen, which presents well.
