A very fine Fluorite from this classic North of England location. A bed of richly coloured purple interpenetrant Fluorite cube twins on matrix,  showing high lustre and transparency throughout. This gives the specimen an overall sparkle not commonly encountered in pieces of this size. The crystals are particularly gemmy measuring up to around 1cm in size and scattered evenly across the matrix. Larger crystals tend to be deeper in colour. Some show colour zoning. A very pretty piece that presents itself well.
