A beautiful display specimen of Fluorite from the Blackdene Mine, Weardale, England. The richly intergrown crystals of Fluorite measure to 6.9cm on edge, with an excellent overall purple colour. Most of the lustrous crystals display a degree of stepped growth development on their faces. The reverse of the specimen shows wedges of translucent green Fluorite intergrown with colourless to white Fluorite and drusy veinlets of black Sphalerite. A great centre piece specimen for display, with stunning fluorescence.
