A twinned crystal of Fluorite sits aesthetically atop the specimen measuring to 1.4cm on edge, surrounded by singularly twinned crystals. All the larger crystals display colour zoning between purple to light purple. The reverse of the specimen is mostly covered in a gemmy druse of Quartz crystals, which are also seen to preferentially cover some of the Fluorite crystal faces. The specimen is from the classic Fluorite area of Weardale, England
