ID: CC2597

A classic specimen of Hilton Mine Fluorite displaying a major gemmy interpenetrant twin. The specimen probably came from the Dow Scar Level which was developed to work a replacement orebody. The Fluorite crystals, measuring to 1.8cm, are very lustrous with a fine amber colour. They have richly overgrown a light brown ferruginous Limestone matrix, and create an aesthetic gemmy display. There are some imperfections, which is reflected in the price
