Fluorite

ID: CC3142

A classic interpenetrant twin crystal group of Fluorite from one of Weardales most famous mines, namely the Boltsburn Mine, Rookhope. The lustrous twinned crystals of Fluorite measuring to 4cm have a lovely purple-pink colour. Showing through the gemmy crystals are a number of colour zoned bands. There is some chipping to the crystals, which is reflected in the price, still a fine Fluorite specimen from Boltsburn Mine.
