Fluorite

ID: CC3285

A choice specimen of richly inter grown cubic crystals of Fluorite from the West Pastures Mine, Weardale. Crystals of Fluorite measure to 1.3cm on edge, have developed on a colourless druse of pyramidal Quartz crystal over an altered Limestone/Ironstone matrix. The crystals of Fluorite are gemmy with a light apple green colour, with a faint darker green zone near to the crystal faces on some crystals. A very pleasing specimen from the mine.
