Gemmy classic interpenetrate twinned crystal, of Fluorite is pleasingly positioned atop the specimen, from the West Cross Vein, Heights Mine, Weardale. A mine that has not been accessible underground since the very early 1980s. The interpenetrate crystal of Fluorite measures to 2.9cm on edge, and is colourless with a hint of grey-blue., associated with minor pyramidal crystals of Quartz.
