One of the best Fluorite specimens collected (pre-1991) from a cavity in the 295 Level, Greencleugh Vein, Frazers Hush Mine, Rookhope, Cumbria. The sharply formed crystals of Fluorite measuring to 5.7cm display a oblong aspect to them, one crystal showing stepped growth. Crystals of Fluorite are a translucent purple with lustrous faces. A white Quartz matrix admirably supports the crystals of Fluorite. A fine specimen from the Greencleugh Vein.
