An uncommon specimen of bi-coloured Fluorite for the Blackdene mine, Weardale, Co. Durham. Sharply formed crystals of Fluorite measure to 1.8cm are a translucent to gemmy green, partly overgrown by a later transition to gemmy light purple. Crystals are lustrous with some frosted white areas, a druse of sparkling white Calcite crystals mostly covers one side of the specimen. A neat specimen from the mine.
