Classic Derbyshire specimen of Fluorite from the Ladywash Mine, Eyam. An elongated dome of inter grown Fluorite crystals measuring to 1.4cm on edge forms an aesthetic specimens. Lustrous crystals of Fluorite are colourless gemmy with sparkling metallic yellow inclusions of micro-crystals of Chalcopyrite, exposed crystals are an iridescent blue. The underside of the specimen has a central core of white Calcite surrounded by black Sphalerite. A great specimen from the mine worked from 1936-79.
