Well formed crystals of blue Fluorite are seen to wrap around two faces of the specimen, from the Florence Mine, Egremont. To be noted on the specimen is that the larger Fluorite crystals measuring to 1cm have yellow phantoms, a very unusual occurrence from the Florence Mine. Also the majority of Fluorite crystals have a zone of included black micro Specular Hematite crystals. Crystals of Fluorite have mostly formed on a druse of saddle habit Dolomite crystals, in-turn the Dolomite has all-but covered a druse of sparkling black Specular Hematite. Followed by a matrix of red-brown layered botryoidal Hematite, with further veins of Specular Hematite.
