A rare Cornish Fluorite from the Grambler Mine, a small mine to the east of Redruth, and part of the St Aubyn United Mines group. The cluster of lustrous crystals of Fluorite measure to 1.3cm on the display face of the specimen. Crystals show a small cubic face truncated by extensive development of the Tetrahexahedral faces. The fluorite colour is a gemmy to translucent combination of pastel blue, violet and colourless. On the reverse of the specimen are similar coloured crystals of Fluorite, with an area of dark green Chlorite. A matrix of milky druse Quartz with very scattered Chalcopyrite micro-crystals. A neat specimen from a very seldom seen location.
